Role: Moving Smoothly Resourcer

Principle Responsibilities and Priorities

  • Input the Moving Smoothly jobs into Deputy.
  • Allocate the jobs to Moving Smoothly contractors & employees
  • Hold all contractors accountable to accurate availability for Moving Smoothly Jobs.
  • Build company intelligence as to the patterns pertaining to contractor preference, availability and ability, (essentially build individual contractor profiles, the lifeblood of Moving Smoothly).
  • Be the primary contact for all contractor re-scheduling as required.
  • Be the primary contact for Job issues (sick staff, errors on jobs, supply issues etc) Liaise with clients if necessary. 
  • Train, monitor and approve all start and completion times of individual contractors.
  • Review and collate job report, following up with requested feedback from each client.
  • Ensure each job is appropriately resourced (all materials required to complete the job).
  • Coordinate and schedule delivery of all resources (packing resources) required to complete jobs. 
  • Build and evolve all systems and procedures pertaining to the ‘Resourcer’ role including but not limited to one-page blueprints for company procedures, video explainers for training purposes, template emails and SMS, as well as refined instructions for the use of Deputy.
  • Place ads for new casual staff
  • Conduct phone interviews and schedule face to face interviews with successful applicants
  • Schedule training of new employees and ensure employees progress from Level 1 to Level 2 successfully and in a timely manner
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels at all times. 
  • Ad hoc administrative duties as required. 

Skills Required

  • Working and evolving knowledge of Deputy
  • Understanding and willingness to learn full Moving Smoothly Operations. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and in-person communications.
  • Fast learner with a high level of business curiosity. 
  • Very high attention to detail and accuracy. 

Pay rate: $32.00 per hour + Super.  This is a casual position. Opportunity to scale with the business

Due to the nature of the business, this would suit someone with a degree of flexibility. Jobs need to be scheduled in a timely manner and hours should be spread across the week. They can be performed at your convenience. We are looking for someone who is able to carry the phone and be a port of call should the ladies out in the field require something urgent.
